David Centner was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where curiosity, creativity, and grit defined his early years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a foundation that would shape decades of entrepreneurial innovation.
His career began in the dot-com boom of the 1990s, where he co-founded K2 Design, one of the earliest digital advertising agencies to go public.
David later launched MaterialNet, a B2B online marketplace that predated many of today’s procurement platforms. But it was in 2002, with the founding of Highway Toll Administration (HTA), that David would make his most significant business mark.
HTA revolutionized the vehicle tolling industry, offering the first scalable solution for electronic toll management. By 2018, it managed toll services for over 4 million vehicles annually, accounting for 75% of the U.S. rental car industry.
That year, David successfully exited the company and turned toward a new mission: using his success to empower others through wellness, education, and conscious living.

Determined to change the course of his life, David adopted regenerative wellness practices, biohacking technologies, and advanced cellular therapies.
Today, at 59 years old, he not only feels decades younger but appears at least 20 years younger, a living testament to the regenerative lifestyle he now champions.
Inspired by his wife Leila Centner’s health journey and their shared vision for redefining wellness access, David co-founded Centner Wellness, a tech-integrated sanctuary focused on regenerative longevity, cellular repair, mind-body energy, and conscious living.
Simultaneously, their commitment to education reform led to the creation of Centner Academy, a K–12 independent school in Miami focused on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, personal sovereignty, and academic excellence.

In 2022, their $2 million donation helped establish the David and Leila Centner Culinary Center at Lotus House, providing vulnerable women and children with skills, meals, and dignity.
